The stamps I found from the Gerhard Zucker collection were so extraordinary that I hated to bury them at the bottom of a page. Zucker's collection stretches over more than a dozen countries and includes examples of some of the earliest flights staged in each area. This slide show displays a sampling of stamps in chronological order, with country of origin and EZ catalog number*.

*The absolutely extraordinary Ellington-Zwisler Rocket Mail Catalog is a repository of rocket mail flights as told by their stamps, vignettes, covers, and plate blocks from the beginning of the 20th century up through 1967. Each variant gets its own number and subnumber. Any proper site that talks about rocket mail stamps makes sure to include its EZ catalog number.
